National Association of Nigerian Nurses in North America (NANNNA) Health Mission Program Adopts Ola Primary Health Center
As part of the Nigerian Nurses Association of North American (NANNNA) Health Mission Program for the adoption of Primary Health Center, NANNNA has awarded
Global Sickle Cell Alliance, Inc and Partners a $6,000 grant to address issues affecting quality of services provided at Ola PHC. The goals of this award are to:
- improve the physical building, its surrounding, space and equipment to ensure patient and staff safety, and facilitate better access to care.
- increase access to quality health care services and safe delivery practices to the mothers by deploying additional and qualified health care workers) (nurse/midwives, CHEWS, HO, Laboratory technologist, environmental officer) and equipment to Ola PHC.
- assure accurate data management for policy and program development
- facilitate ownership of the project for successful completion and sustainability Ola PHC serves the Ola community and environ including but not limited to Aguro, Iware, Aba Elepo, Isoko, Aye, Okoo, Adaara. To achieve the above goals, GLOSCA will continue to work with the stakeholders from the above communities in collaboration with the Ejigbo local government health services.
