APPEAL TO REACH OUR GOAL
DID YOU KNOW THAT....
In Nigeria about 150,000 babies each year
are born with sickle cell disease and 100,000
will die before their 5TH birthday?
To reduce this high infant death rate, two Newborn Screening and
Follow up Programs supported by donations were established to
serve seven (7) states in Nigeria (www.cnbspsw.org).
Our goal is $50,000 for these urgent needs:
- Screen 8,000 children ($100 for 20 babies) = ($40,000)
- Thermometers for 150 families ($2,500)
- Penicillin & Antimalarials for 300 families ($2,000)
- Incentive spirometers ($1,500)
- Treated mosquito nets ($1,000)
- Lancets (28g–30g), Gloves & Shipping (3,000)
