Hemoglobinopathy (Sickle cell and Thalassemia) Training Course
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The goal of this course is to prepare
hemoglobinopathy counseling professionals
to work effectively with families with, or at
risk for hemoglobinopathies by increasing
their knowledge of hemoglobin disorders
and variants as well as risk of inheritance
while providing support services. The program
will utilize online power point lectures, videos,
and zoom discussions. Participants will also
be required to complete an internship.
CERTIFICATION:
Learners will receive a certificate
upon successful completion of the program.
